Thank you for your interest in the Wake Forest University Counseling Center (WFUCC) Psychology Internship Program! The WFUCC Psychology Internship offers two one-year, full-time internship positions beginning and ending in July each year. The start date for the 2019-2020 cohort will be July 15, 2019. Interns complete 2000 hours of training during the year, with at least 500 of those hours being in direct, face-to-face service to clients. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to choose a year-long area of specialization to develop knowledge and skills that are designed to prepare them to take on a coordinator role in a university counseling center or similar setting upon graduation.
