Counseling Style
My counseling approach is rooted in honesty, authenticity, and trust. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment with clients that allows space for vulnerability and collaboration. Each client brings a multitude of strengths into therapy, and I strive to use a strengths-based trauma-informed approach in my work. Regarding modalities, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. I integrate a feminist approach to my work by holding space for and discussing intersectionality in addition to power, privilege, and oppression.

Personal
I grew up outside Nashville. Prior to Winston-Salem, my partner and I lived in Denver and, most recently, Asheville. My favorite way to spend free time is outdoors, whether playing tennis, going for a walk with our dog Levi, or sipping coffee on a patio. I am a novice baker and enjoy trying new recipes on the weekends.
