Bio

Clinical Interests
I’m particularly interested in working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I’ve also supported individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. I enjoy helping people deepen their self‑awareness, improve emotional regulation, and develop a stronger sense of self‑compassion.

Counseling Style
I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioral perspective, while keeping a person‑centered approach at the core of my style. My goal is to help clients feel genuinely seen and heard as we make sense of their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings together. I occasionally integrate DBT mindfulness techniques to support grounding and self‑awareness when it’s helpful. .

Personal
Outside of my time at Wake, I’m most often with friends and family. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and now reside in Winston‑Salem. I enjoy staying active through running and Pilates, love exploring new places, and care deeply about foster care advocacy. Back in Dallas, I worked at a foster care advocacy agency, which really shaped that passion.
