Bio

Clinical Interests
I am interested in supporting individuals who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem, and relationship/family issues. I am particularly interested in helping individuals with healthier coping strategies and building confidence while navigating periods of change and uncertainty through their lives. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, support their personal growth, and overall well being in life in whatever way that means for them!

Counseling Style
My style is primarily grounded in a person centered approach with an emphasis on creating a warm, collaborative, non judgemental environment for individuals. I also enjoy incorporating elements of CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop more effective coping strategies, and work toward practical change in their lives. Overall, I want to strive to create a therapeutic relationship and space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Personal
I am currently in my second and final year in the masters program of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University! I moved here from Indiana and have loved getting to cheer on my alma mater (Indiana University) during their football season! Outside of work and my education, in my personal life, I enjoy cooking, playing tennis, crafting, watching reality TV and spending time with family and friends. My happy place is the beach, and being in warm weather!

Education

B.S. in Education, Counseling Psychology (Indiana University Bloomington)
