Bio

Clinical Interests
I provide assessment, psychoeducation, brief intervention, and case management to support Deacon Health patients towards their integrated mental health goals. I particularly enjoy working with patients on depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, ADHD, sleep concerns, crisis management, and making behavioral changes towards health goals.

Counseling Style
My approach is to build caring and collaborative relationships with patients to support them towards their desired goals. Each patient is unique and my goal is to honor each person’s story and support them in identifying their next steps. I use assessment, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, psychoeducation, and case management to advance the wellbeing of Deacon Health patients. I have a passion for integrated care and promoting holistic health.

Personal
I grew up in Miami, FL, but have called North Carolina home for the past 15 years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, dog, Tucker, and cat, Penny. Our favorite family activities are hiking, exercise, and playing outside. I am a licensed foster parent and enjoy serving in the Kids Ministry each Sunday.
