Counseling Style
Trying counseling for the first time can be not only scary but nerve-racking; wondering what the process of counseling is like especially when thinking about the stigma regarding getting mental health services. I aim to make my clients feel safe and heard through the utilization of person-centered therapy which emphasizes using empathetic listening and unconditional positive regard. I primarily utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy throughout the therapeutic relationship. The inclusion of other theoretical frameworks when necessary for achievements clients goal will be incorporated.

Personal
I’m originally from Georgia but moved to North Carolina for school. I have enjoyed the rainy weather North Carolina has to offer. When I’m not at work/school I enjoy sleeping, reading (anything), listening to music (bts) or podcasts and annoying my cat (she really annoys me).
